In uno spigolo di un solido edificio del 400, di fronte alla basilica di San Nazzaro, è stato progettato Maramaho . Tutti gli arredi sono stati realizzati da piccoli artigiani su disegno originale e progettati per stare in armonia tra loro e non invadere le pareti in pietra. Una grande scaffalatura in legno naturale divide il laboratorio dal locale adibito alla vendita al dettaglio. Una panca ricavata da un unico tronco d’albero si inserisce naturalmente nel perimetro della stanza dietro due vetrine luminose e fa da cornice a tavolini in ferro grezzo e sgabelli in cemento. Oggetti di carta, vetro e sughero, succhi coloratissimi e cesti di frutta e verdura freschi entrano con sorpresa a far parte degli arredi con allegria.
Maramaho has quite an unusual sletting, on a corner of a sturdy looking building of the XV centrury and right in front of the church of San Nazzaro. All the furniture was made by craftsmen from an original design in order to be in harmony with each other and not invade the stone walls. A large natural wood shelf artfully divides the juice bar into two separate parts, one for the staff and the other for the customers. A bench made out of a single tree trunk naturally fits in the room behind two bright showcases and and serves like a frame for the raw iron tables and the concrete stools. Paper, glass and cork items, colorful juice and fresh fruit/ vegetable baskets come as a surprise and joyfully blend in with the furniture.
