L’ispirazione dall’arte cinese
Questa esperienza ha spinto Nicola Gallizia a studiare più a fondo l’arte cinese del mobile tradizionale. I dettagli raffinati, anche nelle opere più antiche, esprimevano un design semplice ma rigoroso. Da questi elementi nasce l’idea di una reinterpretazione in chiave contemporanea.
Nido: il linguaggio delle curve
Il letto Nido si basa su un tema dominante: la curva. Linee morbide e armoniose definiscono la sua forma. Il risultato è un letto accogliente, sicuro e avvolgente.
Il rivestimento in tessuto o pelle e la varietà di colori e materiali lo rendono versatile e personalizzabile.
Dettagli ispirati alla tradizione
Le gambe del letto Nido sono robuste, ampie e morbide. Il loro design trae ispirazione dalla struttura “GuTui” dei letti cinesi antichi, in particolare dal LuoHanChuang.
Questo riferimento introduce nel progetto i concetti di stabilità e solidità, valori chiave del mobile tradizionale cinese.
Un ponte tra passato e presente
Nido unisce heritage orientale e design contemporaneo. È un progetto che celebra la cultura artigianale cinese e la reinterpreta con uno stile internazionale e attuale.

Inspiration from Chinese Art
This project inspired Nicola Gallizia to study traditional Chinese furniture in greater depth. Even the oldest creations showed simple yet rigorous design details. These elements became a source of inspiration for a contemporary reinterpretation.
Nido: The Language of Curves
The Nido bed is defined by one dominant theme: the curve. Soft, harmonious lines shape its form. The result is a bed that feels welcoming, safe, and embracing.
Its body is upholstered in fabric or leather, with a wide range of colors and materials to emphasize versatility and personalization.
Details Rooted in Tradition
The legs of the Nido bed are wide, solid, and softly shaped. Their design recalls the “GuTui” structure of ancient Chinese beds, especially the LuoHanChuang.
This reference introduces the values of stability and strength from traditional Chinese furniture into a contemporary project.
